SunLund By-The-Sea is proud to have received Gold Certification from 
Green Step Canada, the world's largest and most credible sustainable tourism certification program.
SunLund encourages guests to leave disposable plates and cutlery at home. Bring reusable kitchenware and wash it in your RV, cabin, or the communal sink near the washrooms. Reduce waste and save the environment.
The recycling centre complies with the MMBC system which promotes the reduction of merchandise packaging. All items must be clean. Refundable beverage containers are donated to the local volunteer fire department or an other deserving non-profit organization.
Compost attracts bears and rodents therefore SunLund does not offer composting at this time.
SunLund uses eco-friendly cleaning products. Wayward insects found inside buildings are returned intact to their natural environment. There is a Give-And-Take Reusable Items Table by the office for clean, gently-used items. Firewood for sale is locally sourced and bundled.
